Overview

The AtomX SYNC Expansion Module from Atomos is an accessory for the Ninja V monitor. It adds wireless timecode, sync, and Bluetooth control to the Ninja V. The sync ability enables one to control 1000+ Ninja V units that are equipped with these modules on the same network at ranges of up to 300m in efficient multicam shoots. With Bluetooth control, this module is able to allow the use of other devices into this system. You can operate it via an iPhone or iPad on apps like Mavis Pro camera, Apogee's MetaRecorder audio recorder and MovieSlate8 logging.

The module connects to the Ninja V's AtomX expansion port. After it's attached, it also becomes the Ninja's battery plate. It accepts the Ninja's battery, which then powers both devices at the same time. It also has a built-in power extender that allows for uninterrupted power when swapping batteries. Among other products that this module is compatible with include such audio recorders as the Zoom F6 and the Zoom F8n.
