Overview
The Godox MS300 Monolight is a 300-watt, 5600K daylight-balanced manual monolight, designed to be a compact, non-TTL studio strobe that is also part of the 2.4Ghz family of wireless radio controlled flashes. The flash accepts standard Bowens S-Type reflectors and other Bowens mount modifiers. It is a powerful monolight with a recycling time of 0.1-1.8s with flash durations as short as 1/2000 second.
Power emitted from the strobe head is adjustable in 50 steps, from 1/32 to full power, while the 150W modeling light is adjustable from 5 to 100% to allow you to preview your lighting effects. There are rear panel push buttons on the strobe for ease of accessing the settings which are also displayed on the easy-to-read LCD screen. The strobe's triggering options include sync cord, test button, and slave triggering.
With an in-built 32-channel radio system, you can control the strobe wirelessly with a separately purchased XT16, X2, X1, or XPro transmitter. The head also has an anti-pre-flash function that makes it easy to work with point-and-shoot and other cameras that employ pre-flash. Additionally, it's front has a Bowens mount that allows one to use Godox modifiers as well as accessories from the many manufacturers that use this system. The head has a tilting stand mount and runs on 220 -240 V AC mains power available in Kenya.
